While the venue is well suited to any celebratory occasion, Pigalle has hosted numerous product launches, awards ceremonies, seminars and end of year functions. With three private dining areas that cater for groups of twenty – seventy, the venue is also the quintessential space to host private dinners for top clients or stakeholders. Besides the luxurious private dining rooms, Pigalle seats seventy guests in its rear, semi-private section and one hundred and twenty guests in its centre, which has a panoramic view of the restaurant and an unobstructed view of the stage.
Upon arrival, guests can enjoy cocktails from one of two balconies or from the cocktail bar. This fully stocked bar, which is staffed by a team of skilled barmen, has a liquor license until 01h30. True to Pigalle’s Parisian name origin, the restaurant also offers a selection of Champagne, local Methode Cap Classique and South African wines, which further set the tone for an elegant, exuberant occasion.
The restaurant is run by a team of fulltime staff and includes two managers and twenty-five waitrons. This in-house team is highly experienced in both the menu as well as the venue layout. The menu comprises of classic dishes with a Portuguese flair – a direct influence from the Gonçalves brothers. Set menus range from R320 – R570 per guest and include two or three courses. Popular dishes include prawns, langoustines, and indulgent chocolate fondant.
